In the Name of God Amen I Richard Relph of Tenterden in the County of Kent Gentleman being of good and perfect memorie and health full in bodye thankes be given to God therefore Doe this present Thirteenth day of May Anno Domini One thousand six hundred and fiftye two make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following
First I recommend my Soule to God that gave it and my Bodie to the Earth from whence it Came to receive a decent buriall att the discretion of my Executrix herein after to be menctioned and as touching the disposition of all such goods as God hath blessed me with in this world I give and bequeath as followeth

Inprimis I give and bequeath to my sonne Thomas Relph fifty poundes of lawfull Currant money of England to be paid to him att the ende of six moneths next after the decease of Elizabeth my Wife
Item I will and bequeath unto Richard Relph my sonne One hundred poundes to be paid unto him the said Richard his Executors or Administrators att the ende of six Moneths next after the decease of the foresaid Elizabeth my said Wife
Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth my Daughter the Wife of Phillipp Saterthwaite Clarke five poundes to be paide unto her att the ende of three months next after the decease of Elizabeth my said Wife
Item I give & bequeath unto Susanna my Daughter the now Wife of Goddard Butler the summe of Twenty shillings to be paid unto her att the ende of six moneths next after the decease of Elizabeth my said Wife

Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Relfe my Grandchild Daughter of Arthur Relfe late deceased the summe of tenne poundes to be paide by my Executor to my Overseers hereafter to be named whoe I will shall pay the said tenne poundes To my said Grandchild when they shall see Fitt and Convenient In the meane time to pay yearely towards her maintenance what interest can be made thereof

The residue of all and singular my goods Cattle and Chattles whatsoever I doe hereby give and bequeath unto the said Elizabeth my Loveing Wife whome I doe make and Constitute sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
Item Lastly I doe hereby nominate and appointe my Kinsman Richard Kilburne gentleman and Isaake Warde Clarke Overseers of this my last Will and Testament desireing them to assist and be helpefull to my said Executrix in the performance of this my last Will and testament and I give and bequeath unto either of them forty shillings a piece to be paid unto them within one moneth after my decease

In Witnes whereof to this my last Will and Testament I have sett my hand and seale The Day and yeare first above written and have published and declared the same to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of them whose names are hereunder written Rich Relfe

This Will was proved att Westminster this sixth Day of May in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred fifty and fower before the Judges for probate of Wills and granting Administrations lawfully authorised by the oath of Elizabeth Relfe Relict and sole Executrix named in the above written Will To whome administration of all and singular the goods Chattells and debts of the said Deceased was Committed she being first legally sworne by vertue of a Commission truly and faythfully to administer the sameā€¦

Notes:
Richard Relphe married Elizabeth Maplesden 13 August 1605, Benenden, Kent. He was buried 3 April 1654, Tenterden, Kent.
Elizabeth Relfe, widow, was buried 4 March 1656/7, St Mildred, Tenterden (see also her Will National Archives PROB 11/262/577).
Arthur Relfe was baptised 10 April 1608, Benenden, Kent. He married Martha Huxtead/Huckstepp (1614-51) 20 June 1636, Cranbook.
Elizabeth Relfe was baptised 7 January 1610, Benenden. She married Dr Philip Saterthwaite 30 November 1634, St Margaret at Cliffe, Kent.
