Will of Richard Ring

of Sevenoaks, Kent

I give and bequeath unto my Sister Sarah Ring all the Money I now have invested in the Sevenoaks Provident Bank together with all such arrears of Interest as shall be due thereon at the time of my decease To hold the same to her the said Sarah Ring her Executors Admors and Assigns Upon this special Trust and Confidence nevertheless (that is to say) that she the said Sarah Ring shall and do as soon as conveniently may be after my death call in and receive the money so invested the Sevenoaks Provident Bank aforesaid together with all the arrears of Interest due thereon and do and shall thereout pay all my Debts Funeral and Testamentary Charges and Expences

and do also pay thereout my Uncle Thomas Harman and my Aunt Harman a mourning Ring each
and do and shall pay assign and Transfer all the residue of such Monies after answering the purposes aforesaid unto my Mother Emma Ring to and for her own use and benefit

I give and bequeath unto my said Sister Sarah Ring my Silver Watch three Seals and key to and for her own use and benefit
I give and bequeath unto my Sisters Mary and Jane Ring all my Books to be equally divided between them for their own use and benefit

I give and bequeath unto John Biggs of London my Brass Cribbage Board to and for his own use and benefit
I give and bequeath unto Joseph Henry Streatfield of London Stock Broker my best silk Handkerchief and other handkerchiefs to and for her own use and benefit
I give and bequeath to my said Uncle Thomas Harman all my Shirts and Waistcoats Breeches Hats Boots and Shoes and other Linen and Wearing Apparel not by me before disposed of to and for his own use and benefit

and as to all the residue and remainder of my Money Goods Chattels and other Personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever the same shall be at the time of my death not hereinbefore given and disposed of which I now am or at the time of my death shall be possessed of or in any manner intitled to either in reversion remainder or expectancy and whether at Law or in equity I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my said Sisters Sarah Mary and Jane Ring in the following shares and proportions (that is to say)
as to one Moiety or equal half part of such residue unto my said Sister Sarah Ring her Executors Admors and Assigns
and as to the remaining Moiety or other equal half part of such residue unto my said Sisters Mary and Jane Ring their Executors Admors and Assigns equally to be divided between them in case they are both living but if either of my said Sisters Mary and Jane shall happen to die before me then I give and bequeath the share of her so dying to the Survivor of them my said last named two Sisters

And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Sister Sarah Ring Executrix of this my Will and do declare that it shall be lawful for my said Executrix to retain to and reimburse herself all Costs Charges and Expences which she shall be at or sustain in the execution of this my Will and that she shall not be answerable or accountable for any loss in the Execution of the Trusts of this my Will unless the same shall happen thro� her own wilful default and neglect

And I do hereby revoke all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made ad do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have at the bottom of the first sheet of this my Will subscribed my Name and to this second and last sheet set my hand and Seal this Eighteenth day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen _ Richard Ring
