In the name of God Amen:: the three and twentieth day of March in the yeare of our Lord Christ according to the Computation of the Church of England One thousand six hundred forty and Seaven
I Anne Rolfe of Leigh next Tonbridge in the County of Kent widdow being at this present sicke and weake in body but of sound and perfect minde and memory thankes therefore be given to Allmighty God to whose gratious acceptance I comend my soule trusting to have the free pardon and remission of all my sinnes and eternall salvation by the alone meritts death and passion of Jesus Christ for the ordering and disposeing of that temporall Estate which god hath lent me here on earth I doe therefore make and ordaine this to be my testament and last will in manner and forme following, that is to say,

First I will and give to Oliver Goldsmith my Sonne the sume of twenty shilling of lawfull money of England to be paid unto him within one yeare after my decease by myne Executor
Item I will and give to William Treape my Sonne in Lawe the like sume of twenty shillings of like lawfull money to be paid unto him with in one yeare next after my decease
And for Anne my daughter the wife of the said William Treape I will and give all my weareing apparrell as well lynnen and wollen to be delivered unto her uppon demand after my decease

Item I will and give to Elizabeth, Anne William, and Mercy the Fouer Children of the said William Treape by my said daughter the sume of twenty shillings a peece of lawfull money of England to be paid unto them or to their Father for their use wthin one yeare next after my decease by mine Executor,
And I will that acquittance or acquittances uppon Receipt of their said Legacies under the hands and seales of the said Children with their said Father though the said Children shalbe under age when their said Legacies shall grow due shalbe sufficient to discharge mine Executr of and from the same And my will is that uppon payment of the said Legacies to the said Children such acquittance or acquittances shalbe given to my said Executor

The residue and all other my goods housholdstuffe and Chattells whatsoever not formerly herby disposed of I wholly give and will and leave to my loveing sonne in lawe John Jeffrey with whom I now live for the use and good of himselfe, and his Children

And I make and ordaine him the said John Jeffrey to be the sole Executor of this my will and testament to see the same proved my legacies aforesaid truly paid, and my body decently brought to the earth and buried

Signum Thoma Carpenter sig Willimi Goldsmith and Geo: Hooper

17 April 1649 Administration (in Latin) granted to William Treape and Anne Treap his wife the son of the deceased as John Jeffrey the Executor died before he could take on the execution.

Ann Goldsmith married William Treape 24 November 1634, Withyham, Sussex.
Martha Goldsmith married John Jefferye, 24 February 1642, Leigh, Kent.
