In the name of God Amen I Robert Rolfe of Munke Horton in the County of Kent yeoman being sicke and weake in body but of Good and perfect memory thankes be Given unto Allmighty God doe make and ordeyne this my last will and testament in manner & forme followeing (That is to say)
First I bequeath my Soule to Allmighty God hopeinge assuredly to be saved in and through the meritorious passion of Jesus Christ my alone Saviour and Redeemer and my body to be buried in the Churchyard of the parish Church of Munks Horton aforesaid in decent and Christian like manner and as neere unto my Ancestors as conveniently may be

Itm I Give and bequeath unto my kinsman Robert Rolfe sonne of my brother John Rolfe my messuage or tenem[en]t and all other the Edifeces and buildings thereunto belonginge and nine Acres of Land arrable and pasture more or lesse with the appurtenances scituate lyeing and beinge in the parish of Lyming in the said County of Kent or else where in the said Countie To have and to hold the said messuage Tenemt and Lande with the appurtenances unto my said kinsman Robert Ralfe from St Michael the Arch Angell next ensueing after my decease To the onely use and behoofe of my said kinsman Robert Rolfe and to his heires forever

Item I Give and bequeath unto my beloved brother John Rolfe of Horton aforesaid yeoman all my ready money and all moneys due to mee upon bonde bills bargaines debts accompts and reckonings whatsoever and I further Give and bequeath unto my brother John Rolfe all housholdstuffe whatsoever and wheresoever and all my fuell or burning wood about my dwelling house
and my further Will and meaning is that my said Brother John Rolfe shall have the revenue of my aforesaid lande from the time of my decease untill the aforesaid tyme they remaine to the use of my said kinsman Robert Rolfe
all which Goods and money before bequeathed unto my said brother John my desire is he shall divide it amongst the rest of his Children that are not menconed in this my will at his discretion and pleasure

All the rest of my Goods Chattells, stocke and Crop whatsoever not herebefore menconed I Give and bequeath unto my Kinsman John Rolfe another sonne of my said brother John whom I make and ordeyne sole Executor of this my last will and testament hee payeing all my debts and discharging my funeral Expences

This is the last Will and testament of mee the aforesaid Robert Rolfe of Munks Horton made and declared this Five and twentieth day of February in the yeare of our Lord Christ one Thousand sixe hundred Fifty seaven revokeing and makeing voide all former Wills
And I have hereunto Subscribed my hand and seale - The Marke of Robert Rolfe
sealed subscribed Published and Declared in the Presence of us William Chittinden - Robe Jenkyn.

This Will was proved att London the Fift Day of July in the yeare of our Lord God accordinge to the Computation of the Church of England one Thousand sixe hundred Fifty and eighte before the Judges for Probate of Wills and grantinge Administrations lawfully Authorited by the oath of John Rolfe Executor of the said deceased in the said Will named To whome of all and singuler the Goods Chattells and debts of the said Deceased was Committed hee beinge First Sworne by Commission truely to Administer the Same.
