In the Name of God Amen the Two and Twentieth day of November One Thousand Seaven Hundred and five
I William Roufe of Sheerness in the County of Kent House Carpenter being very sick and weake of body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God I doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (That is to say)
First and Chiefly I give my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me, and my Body to the Earth to be buried in Christian like manner nothing doubting but at the generall Resurrection I shall receive the same againe by the mighty power of God And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I give and devise the same in manner following

Imprimis I give and bequeath to Mary my dearly beloved wife all and singular my Goods Wares and Household Furnitures ready money Implements and all other premisses belonging to me the said William Roufe excepting that
Item I give to my well beloved Brother Edward Roufe one shilling and To my Sisters that may be now liveing the like sume of one shilling in remambrance of them to be paid by her if demanded

And of this my last Will and Testament I make her my well beloved wife Mary Roufe my full and whole Executrix
and doe hereby utterly disallow revoke and anull all and every other former Testaments

Ratifyeing and confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testamt whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale, the day and year above written./. The marke of Wm Roufe the Testator./.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Roufe to be his only last Will and Testament in the presence of (with two interlineings thus marked x)

Probate in Latin: granted 4 January 1705/6 to Mary Rolfe als Rolfe, Relict and Executrix..

Note: William Roafe married Mary Dubberley 6 April 1702, Minster in Sheppey.
