In the name of God Amen I Amy Rumney of Chart next Sutton Vallance in the County of Kent Widow being weak in body but of Sound and perfect mind and memory Praysed be Almighty God Doe therefore make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)
First and principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God hopeing through the meritts Death and Passion of our blessed Saviour Jesus Christ to have full remission and free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to inherit everlasting life, my Body I commit to the Earth to be privately but decently buried at the discretion of my Executor herein after named in East Sutton Church in the same grave where my dear Husband lyes
And as touching the disposal of all my temporal Estate I give and dispose thereof as followeth

Impris I will that all my debts and Funerall charges shall be paid and discharged
Item I give and bequeath the sume of twenty Shillings of lawfull money of Great Britaine to the poor of the parish of East Sutton to be paid within six months after my decease and to be disposed of to such persons as my Exec�r shall think fitt.

Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother Smyth twenty shillings for a ring
Item I give and bequeath unto my neice Anne Smyth the sume of ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine and my Clock with all the furniture in my Chamber that is mine (except the Bookes)

Item I give and bequeath unto my nephew John Smyth the sume of ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Brittaine
Item I give and bequeath unto my nephew Robert Smyth the sume of five pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine

Item I give and bequeath unto my neice Margaret Filmer Daughter of my Brother Doct�r Edw�d Filmer dec�ed the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine
Item I give and bequeath unto my neice Elizabeth Filmer Sister to the aforesaid Margaret Filmer twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine
Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Filmer Widow of my bro�r Doct�r Edward Filmer the sume of ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine
Item I give and bequeath unto my neice Ann Filmer Daughter of my bro�r Doct�r Edw�d Filmer the sume of twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine

Item I give and bequeath unto my nephew Thomas Filmer Son of my bro�r Doct�r Edw�d Filmer the sume of twenty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine
Item I give and bequeath unto my nephew Charles Filmer son of my bro�r Doct�r Edw�d Filmer the sume of fifty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britaine
And also I give and bequeath unto my said nephew Charles the Common Prayer Booke with cutts and the Bible which were his Aunt Elizabeths

Now for the sure and efectuall payment of all the aforesaid Legacies and sumes of money I bind and ingage all those two severall Messuages or Tenements with all the barnes Stables and all other the outhouses Ediffices and buildings thereunto belonging and with all the Orchards Gardens Yards and backsides together with all those severall peices or parcells of land Arable Meadow and pasture thereunto belonging containing in the whole by estimation Seventy five acres little more of less and are commonly called or known by the names of Little Dunton and Great Dunton
and also all that little Messuage or Tenement and backside with three peices or parcells of Land containing in the whole by estimation three acres more or less
all which three messuages or Tenements with all the lands premisses and appurten�ces thereunto belonging aforesaid are lying and being in the Parish of Otford in the County of Kent and now or late in the severall tenures or occupations of Henry Hall and Richard Latter yeomen their Assignee or assignes under tenant or under tenants of the parish of Otford aforesaid

Item I give and devise and bequeath all the aforesaid three Messuages or Tenements with all the lands premisses and appurtenances thereunto belonging as aforesaid in the severall occupations of the said Henry Hall and Richard Latter or their assignes unto my nephew Edward Filmer Eldest son of my brother Doc�t Edward Filmer dec�ed and to his heires and assignes for ever
Provided never the less and upon this condition that he the said Edward Filmer doe truly pay or cause to be paid all my debts and severall sumes of money as afores�d within the time and space of five yeares after my decease
And untill that time be expired or dureing the space of the said five yeares the s�d Edward Filmer shall pay yearly lawfull interest for all the aforesaid severall sumes on money

And whereas my said nephew Edward Filmer is at p'cent an Officer in his Majesties Service Now if it shall happen that the said Edward Filmer shall be ordered beyond the Seas and should dye and depart this life before me (and not otherwise) then my Will is that after all my debts Funerall expences and Legacies are paid and discharges in such manner and forme and within the time abovesaid and I doe hereby give devise and bequeath all the aforesaid three Messuages or Tenements with all the buildings Lands and premisses & appurten�ces thereunto belonging in the severall occupations of the said Henry Hall and Rich�d Latter unto my two nephews Charles Filmer and Thomas Filmer and my three neices Margaret Filmer Elizabeth Filmer and Anne Filmer Children of my Brother Doct�r Edward Filmer dec�ed to them and their Heires and Assignes for ever to be equally divided amongst them,
Except one hundred pounds (with which I charge all my said Lands before bequeathed for the payment thereof ) unto my neice Margaret Filmer over and above her share aforesaid to be paid before the devission of my said Estate be made
But upon this provisoe aqnd condition onely that my said nephew Edward Filmer shall happen to dye and depart this life before me.

I nominate and appoint my Nephew John Smyth my full and Sole Trustee to this my last Will and Testament giveing him full power and authority to see that every matter & thing herein contained be fully observed performed fulfilled and kept according to the true intent and meaning thereof and if it shall happen that the said John Smyth my nephew shall be at any charges in the saw to see this my Will performed the same charges shall be taken and deducted out of any part of my Estate reall or Personal

Lastly all the rest and residue of my personall Estate Goods and chattells Plate Rings and Jewells I doe give and bequeath unto my Nephew Edward Filmer eldest sonn of my brother Doct�r Edward Filmer dec�ed Whom I doe make nominate and appoint my Sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament containing two sheets of paper, revoking and makeing void all other former Wills and Testaments by me heretofore made either by word of mouth or in writing

But in case my Nephew and Exec�r Edward Filmer should happen to dye before me I then give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my personall Estate not herein before disposed of to be equally divided between all the children of my brother Doct�r Edward Filmer dec�ed

In Witnesse whereof I the said Amy Rumney have hereunto sett my hand to the first Sheet of Parer and my hand and Seale to the second and last Sheet of Paper this twenty ninth day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand Seven hundred and eighteen 1718
