In the name of God Amen The sixteenth day of November the second year of the reign of our Soveriegn Lord James the second of England Scotland ffrance and Ireland King Anno Dom 1686 I Thomas Russell of Wittersham in the Isle of Oxney and the County of Kent Singleman being sick in body but of good and perfect mind and memory thanks be to God do make and ordaine this to be my last will and testatment in manner and form following. Impri I commend my spirit into the hands of God that gave it and my body to be decently buried in the earth by my Executrix hereafter mentioned

Item I give and bequeath unto Joseph Russell my dear and loving father five pounds of good money to be paid to him within three months after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto Thomas Russell my brother Joseph Russell's son twenty pounds whereof ten pounds shall be paid to my said father within three months after my decease and the other ten pounds to remain with my Executor and by then to be paid to my said nephew at his age of one and twenty years.

Item all the rest of my goods and chattells I give and bequeath unto my said brother Joseph Russell whom I make and ordain the whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament. He paying my debts legacies and funeral charges. This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Russell in witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and year first above written .
