     Dicey Hargis was born in 1861 at Pulaski County, Kentucky.³ She was the daughter of James Madison Hargis and Hannah Whitaker.² Dicey Hargis married David W. Arthur on 2 February 1886 at Pulaski County, Kentucky.⁴

     Milton Hargis was born in 1864 at Pulaski County, Kentucky.¹ He was the son of James Madison Hargis and Hannah Whitaker.¹

     David W. Arthur was born in 1867 at Laurel County, Kentucky.² He married Dicey Hargis, daughter of James Madison Hargis and Hannah Whitaker, on 2 February 1886 at Pulaski County, Kentucky.¹

     Elizabeth Price was born in 1835.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Price and Berilas Hargis.²

     Lucretia Price was born in 1837.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Price and Berilas Hargis.²

     Lillie Mounce was born on 2 November 1899 at Pulaski County, Kentucky.¹ She married Christopher Columbus Bray, son of Martin Van Buren Bray and Mary Ann (Polly) Stogsdill.¹ Lillie Mounce died on 10 November 1988 at Pulaski County, Kentucky, at age 89.¹ She was buried in 1988 at Clay Hill Cemetery, Pulaski County, Kentucky.¹

     Fleda Curtis Camp was born on 3 August 1885 at Detroit, Alabama.¹ She married David Bruton Hargiss Sr., son of Thomas Alexander Hargiss and Martha E Bruton, on 23 December 1906 at Naples, Texas.¹ Fleda Curtis Camp died on 4 May 1974 at Orange, Orange County, Texas, at age 88.¹
     Fleda Camp was born in Alabama, but her family moved to Texas when she
was young. They lived in northeast texas, in Morris or Titus county.
Later, with her husband and children, she moved to Orange, in
southeast Texas, where she lived for the rest of her life.
She was a musician and taught piano lessons.
After her husband had a stroke and was no longer able to work,
she supported the family by selling real estate and insurance. She
operated her own agency out of her home, so that she could also care
for her husband and her son (David) Alton, who was crippled by polio.

     Nancy Ann Cockingham was born circa 1810 at North Carolina.^1,2 She married Shadrack Hargiss, son of Jonathan Hargis and Priscilla Askew, on 17 December 1829 at Shelby County, Tennessee.^1,2 Nancy Ann Cockingham died on 14 November 1850 at of Boyd County, Kentucky.¹

     Virginia Chilcote Rodrick was born on 1 September 1912 at Lakeland, Polk County, Florida.¹ She married Floyd Edward Hargiss, son of Ernest Phillip Hargiss and Grace Olivia Nicks, on 28 April 1934 at Houston, Harris County, Texas.¹ Virginia Chilcote Rodrick died on 3 November 1981 at Eugene, Lane County, Oregan, at age 69.¹ She was buried at No. Hollywood, Los Angeles County, California.¹

     Barbara Kay Hargiss was born on 8 September 1935 at Houston, Harris County, Texas.¹ She was the daughter of Floyd Edward Hargiss and Virginia Chilcote Rodrick.¹ Barbara Kay Hargiss died on 13 September 1989 at Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, at age 54.¹ She was buried on 19 September 1989 at Grand Prairie, Dallas County, Texas.¹
