This Indenture of bargain sale and conveyance made and entered unto this
26th day of February 1849 between Daniel Stockdill and Sarah his wife of
the County of Pulaski State of Ky of the first part and Abraham Whitson of
the County and State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth that for and
inconsideration of two hundred dollars part paid in money and part in other
lands, to them in hand paid The said Daniel Stocksdill and Sarah his wife
have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant alein enfeoff convey
and confirm unto the said Abraham Whitson his heirs or assigns forever two
certain tracts or parcels of Land situate lying and being in the County and
State aforesaid on the waters of Buck creek and bounded as followeth towit,
the first tract Beginning on a sugartree and dogwood at a dry Branch Known
by the name of the Sleep Hollow of Buck creek thence S33 W40 poles to a
poplar and hickory thence N61 W86 poles to a white oak and chestnut thence

1850, between Daniel Stogsdill and Sarah is wife of Pulaski and State of
Kentucky of the one part and Joseph Clonch Inconsideration of the sum of
Two hundred fifty Dollars to them in hand paid the said Daniel Stogsdill
and Sarah his wife has this day bargained and sold and do by these presents
grant bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said Joseph Clonch, the
following boundary of land supposed to contain one hundred and thirty acres
be the same more or less lyinbg and being in the County of Pulaski on the
waters of buck Creek and bounded as follows (towit) Beginning at the
original beginning corner of said Survey at a white oak thence with a
conditional line Made by and between Daniel Stogsdill and Abraham Whitson,
to a black oak and gum thence N88 E40 poles to a poplar thence S5 E10 poles
to a hickory and Dogwood thence E42 poles to a black oak and hickory thence
N38 E46 poles to a black gum thence N47 W34 poles to a white oak thence N1
W84 poles to a dogwood thence N28 E14 poles to a black walnut and hickory
Standing opposite the East end of a conditional line between said Stogsdill
& Benj Hansford thence with said conditional line N66 W3_ poles to a stake
on the Original line thence with said line S42 W132 poles to the Beginning,
the said Joseph Clonch To Have and To Hold the above and foregoing
described tract and or parcel of land. With its appertenances and
Improvements To himself and his heirs forever, and the said Daniel
Stogsdill and Sarah his wife agrees that they will warrant and forever
defend the Title to said Tract of land against this Claim or claims of
themselves & their heirs forever and against the claims or claims of all
and every other person or persons whomsoever
