  8. Stanley Scheetz Family Tree: Birth and death dates on back of photo on family tree differs from what is written on the tree itself, "Sept. 23, 1873 - Oct. 5, 1952" but I have no idea where these dates came from. The dates on the gravestone corroborates the dates I listed on top.
  9. Unverified information from other researchers. Some of the information is consistent with census records.

* I have no specific information, but my inability to find anything about Mary beyond the 1870 Census leads me to believe she probably died as a young child. Her mother's 1900 Census record indicates that only 4 of her 5 children are still living. All the others were still alive. The note in fn.4 indicates only 4 of 5 still living. Based on its contents, it appears to have been written about the time of William's death in 1886. I am also skeptical of Mary's birthdate as it is only about three weeks after William and Catherine's marriage. Even a "shotgun" wedding probably would have taken place earlier in the pregnancy than that.
