Other Details:"It is known that Joh. Martin, in early February 1726/27 had travelled from Widdern, Germany to Adelshofen, Baden, Germany to attend his son's wedding. Unfortunately, Joh. Martin never did see his son marry, for he passed away, in Adelshofen, on 3 Feb 1727 at the age of 57. His son was married eight days later on the 11th to Anna Elizabetha Salzgeber." 1
From Adelshofen Luther KB: "m. 11 Feb. 1727 Joh Burckhard, son of the late Joh Martin Hoffmann, inhabitant at [7109] Widdern, and Anna Elisabetha, dau. of Joh. Bernhard Saltzgeber, inhbitant. 'Both wish to go to PA.'
