Other Details: William's Obituary lists him as a member of the Richlandtown Fire Deparment and a member of the "Sr. O.U.A.M." The Order of United American Mechanics was a society that started in the mid-19th Century and reached the height of its populariity in the early 20th century. It was primarily focused on opposing immigration and keeping the Bible in schools. It was also anti-Catholic.
