Recently I was searching through the baptisms of St. Patrick's Cathedral, LDS FIlm # 1420497, item #6, and I ran across these few death entries right in the middle of the baptisms  that had been filmed,  but not listed on the film label.  There were probably too few to take the time to itemize or were simply missed during the filming.  It's a shame that the Pastor did not continue to record the deaths.

I transcribed this information as best as I could.  Some of it was very illegible,  much of it were run-on sentences.  I did the best I could.  If you have any questions plese feel free to email me.

1832 Deaths in the Parish of St. Patrick.  Rochester, May 20th 1832

May 23rd. 
Mr. Pat* KELLY departed this life , *** *** day Rve. Mr. O'Donahou of Sali*** *** as intered in Rochester  More than thirty miles from the place he died on the 25th in the portion of Gaines allotted to the Catholics in the publick burying ground. R.I.P. He was from *** Sisters lot Langford Ireland. (Consumption)

June ***
Mrs. Mary CAMPBELL departed & was intered at the Chapel of Greece at 11 o'clock A.M. 19th had *** *** & a very large congregation___was attended by Mc***.  Consumption

July 5th
Mrs. Johanna RENEHASE (?sp) departed this life. Received all the Sacraments the evening before, was buried the 6th *** *** for the dead in the church.  Dropsy.

July 10th
Mr. Edward HAYS departed this morning he was assisted on the 8th Sunday. Buried the 11th in Rochester left a wife & three children. 40th year. Inflamatory R***

July 20th
Francis John BRADY son of Dennis departed this life July 19th  aged 5 weeks. Was buried at the Publick grouds.

July 23
*** of Mr. Leary* aged 6 months from consumption.

July 24th
Rose BARENT (Bakent?) of Laurent aged 2 years & 6 months - Drowning

August 3
Catherine BARNES wife of Valentine aged 43 years received the sacraments from John * McGerry died of consumptionism.

Aug *
A*** MONT*** suddenly  of colera they had not time to send for the  Priest. Colera

Aug 4
Mrs. Sh*** was assisted & died in a few hours aged 63 years. Buried same day. Colera

Aug 4
Mr *** *** from Ireland was taken to the hospital & prepared for death by McGe*** deparetd *** mas*** aged 48 Colera

Aug 6th
Mrs. CLAFFERTY taken at 1 o'clock departed at six *** *** by *** aged 28. Buried same evening. Colera

Aug 10th
*** SHEEHAN'S child departed cholera unfant.

Aug 12th
M. SHEEHAN *** where her mother was buried & died in a fine (first?) hour aged 13 *** buried same day Cholera

BUCKLEY, aged 15 months. Buried at Greece the 14th Aug.

Aug 14th
Mary FRANK - A German woman taken this morning at 4 O'clock assisted at 8 o'clock by McGerry & died at twelve buried right away *** Cholera

Aug 15th
Dennis DOYLE departed this life at 2 o'clock this morning was assisted by McGerry buried at 8 in the poor ground. Cholera

Aug 15th
Mrs. Kirkpatrick assisted by McGerry at 12 o'clock departed at 6 this evening. 34 (?) years. Cholera

Aug 24th
Jos. (Jas?) SWARTZOMILLER aged 65 departed this day assisted by McGerry. Died of 24 hours sickness.  Cholera

Aug 25
Michael MAHONEY (MAHANEY?) was taken at 2 o'clock at m* & assisted by McGerry died in nine(?) hours Cholera

27th
Pierre TULLIA(SP?) taken with cholera was sp*** *** could only give him extrem*** Cholera

Aug the 30th, 1832 
The Rev. Michael MCNAMARA departed this life. He was for five years pastor of Rochester & the present church built during the time he was pastor.  His remains were placed under the Altar by his relations, as the church was interdicted it was not in the power of Rev. McGerry then Pastor to perform the funeral Service. Rev McNAMARA was administered for death by Rev J.*. McGerry *** all the Consolidations of Religion. May he rest in Peace.

October 13th
Died of consumption Eliza O'BRIEN wife of James *** - interment in the Rochester burying ground Oct 15th, 1835.
