REXRODE

REXRODE, Marjorie Hatcher, 73, of Roanoke, passed away Monday evening, July 6, 1998 after a long battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born in Troutville, the daughter of Noah and Grace Hatcher. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Ercil "Rex" Rexrode; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Ellen Rexrode of Roanoke, Michael and Kathy Rexrode of Cary, N. C.; three grandchildren, Gabriel, Christina and Stephen; a sister, Myra and her husband, John Branscome of Woodstown, N. J.; and a brother, Gerald and his wife, Lorene of Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Cedar Lawn Burial Park at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. William K. Rogers officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Disease Association, (Roanoke/Salem Chapter).
