| Note* | I can find no evidence that Marcel or his children came to America with the exception of Anna Christina who came with her husbane Nickel Feuerstein. Other Nonnenmachers did emigrate to America and are documented as being from the Berg und Thal area. It is likely they are related to Marcel's family. The family name is also listed as Nunnenmacher, Nunnemacher, Nunnmacher, Nunnmacker, and others. Most documents list the spelling as Nonnenmacher, at least in the Lutheran church records of Berg from which I have taken this research. | |
