| News/Obit* | 3 April 2009 | Mary L. Davis Mary L. Davis , 82, of Snohomish, WA, passed away peacefully March 31, 2009 surrounded by her family. She was born August 9, 1926 in Picher, Oklahoma to Joseph and Bessie Thomas. Mary met and married Millard Davis in 1945, and were happily married for 43 years. They had resided in Snohomish since 1953, and Mary had retired from Scott Paper after 32 years of service. Mary is survived by her children, Pat (George) Scott, Butch (Darleen) Davis , and Janet (Terry) Czap; grandchildren, David, Chad, Jason, Ty, Sabrina, and Terrance; 14 great-grandchildren; a large extended family; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard in 1988; and grandson, Blair in 1995. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, on Saturday, April 4, 2009, at Bauer Funeral Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will be at G.A.R. Cemetery, Snohomish.
