| News/Obit* | 26 September 2003 | James A. Gaumer James Aaron Gaumer, 64, 9163D N. Congress St., New Market, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at his home. Mr. Gaumer was born April 10, 1939, in Alexandria and was the son of William A. and Vivian Walker Gaumer of New Market. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was employed by the Life Care Center in New Market where he was named employee of the year. On Nov. 3, 1973, he married Deborah Kendall, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Shawn Jaramillo of Leesburg and Shanda Gaumer of Winchester; two stepdaughters, Rosin Slonaker of Stephens City and April Katherine Gaumer Harris of Maryland; a sister, Patricia A. Bradley of Mount Vernon; two brothers, William L. Gaumer of Alexandria and Jerry E. Gaumer of New Market; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
