A dinner and reception at the Mt, Vernon Inn marked the 35th wedding anniversary of three couples, Mr. and Mrs. Thurston Peters, of 38339 Berkeley Lane, Chagrin Falls, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. John Ludnick of Confluence, and Mr. and Mrs. George Van Nosdeln of Mill Run.

The party was given by sisters of the couples. A three-tier wedding cake decorated in shades of coral and jade matched the decorating scheme. Mrs. A. D. Skinner, of Confluence was in charge of decorations.

Local guests were: Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Skinner of Confluence; Mrs. Vernetta Tissue of Uniontown; Arthur Bryner, Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Bryner and Mrs. Robert Lear of Dunbar; Diane Lankard of Chalk Hill; Mrs. Mildred Van Nosdeln of Connellsville and
Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Hay and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hay of Mill Run.

Mr. and Mrs. Peters were married June 10, 1938 and are the parents of two sons, Donald of Mansfield, Ohio, and David of Culver City, Calif. They have one grandchild. The Peters own and operate the Merit Finish Co, in Cleveland.

The date for the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Ludnick was Oct. 10, 1936. They have one son, Victor of Baltimore and two grandchildren. Mr. Ludnick is a retired engineer for Allied Chemical Corp., New York, N.Y.

The Van Nosdelns were married Dec. 23, 1936. Mr. Van Nosdeln is employed by the Industrial Chemical Co. at Newell. Mrs. Van Nosdeln is a teacher in the Uniontown Area School District .
