News/Obit* 12 June 1950  YOUNKIN, WILLIAM H.—aged 62, retired miner, died Saturday. June 10, 1950, at 3:15 a. m. in his home, Franklin township, near SmocK. He was a former employe of the Taylor mine and a member of that local 8209 or U.M.W.A. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mamie Lancaster Younkin, and these children, James H., Wilbur and Dorothy, at home; Mrs. Betty Jane Grahek of Merrittstown; Mrs. Esther Marie Cormel of Fairbank: Leona P. Hillen of Connellsville; three brothers and seven sisters reside in Connelsville; 13 grandchildren. Friends are being received in the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Martha Jane Lancaster, Grindstone, R. D. 1, near Brasnell, where services will be conducted Tuesday, June 13, at 2 p. m. Burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery, under the direction of the Kisinger Funeral Home, Brownsville.
