Charles P. Sellers, Jr., 78, of 447 Woodvale Ave., Johnstown, died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996 at Lee Hospital, Johnstown.
The son of Charles D. Sr. and Elizabeth (Gyan) Sellers, he was born Oct. 1, 1918 in Johnstown.
He was a retired electrical supervisor of Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 42 years. Mr. Sellers was a Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Sunnehanna Lodge 742, F & AM; and New Castle Consistory.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Betty M. Shaulis Sellers; a daughter Betty A., the wife of Walter Rinehart, Indiana; a. brother, Wilford Sellers, New Orleans; and a sister, Violet Pieger, Pittsburgh.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Elizabeth Smith.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at The Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., Johnstown, where services will be . held at 1 p.m.. Thursday with Margaret Kipilo as reader. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery Johnstown.
