News/Obit* | 15 August 1956 | ZELDA CLARK WEDS PAUL R. FABICH Vows were pledged by Miss Zelda Kay Clark and Paul Robert Fabich, Gary, Ind., Aug. 11 at 9 a.m. in St. Monica s Church, Wampum. Rev. Edwin Sheedy, pastor of the church, performed the double ring rites. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clark, Pa. 18, was escorted to the altar by her father. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Fabich, Wampum, Miss Clark was attired in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over satin Her gown was styled with a high neckline and a tiered skirt of peated nylon and lace. Her finger tip veil of illusion fell from a crown of seed pearls. A white orchid centered her colonial bouquet of white carnations. Mrs. William Sparvieri, La Belle, acted as matron of honor for her cousin. She wore a ballerina length gown of mint green with a matching headband of carnations, Mrs. James Cunningham, the bride's sister; Mrs. Peter Fabich, sister-in-law of the bridegroom; Mrs. Glen Boyer and Miss Charlotte Shearer were bridesmatrons and bridesmaid. They wore ballerina length gowns of yellow, pink blue and lavender respectively. The attendants carried colonial bouquets of white carnations. Juanita Marie Gabich, Gary, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. Tommy Baker, the bride's cousin, acted as ring bearer. Peter Fabich, Gary, served as best man for his brother. George Baker, cousin of the bride, Paul and Robert Beber and Tony Metz were ushers. A breakfast for the bridal party and parents of the bridal couple was served at Ally’s Restaurant after the rites. A dinner for 100 guests followed in the home of the bridegroom's parents. There was a reception for 100 guests in the evening at the White Eagle Hall, Chewton, with the bridegrooms parents as hosts. Mrs. George Fabich, Mrs Philip Fabich. Mrs Andrew Zak, Miss Joyce McClintock, Miss Virginia Ryan and Miss Mary Jane Johnson were aides. Mr. and Mrs. Fabich, who left for an undisclosed destination, will reside at 2760 Gerry St., Gary. The bride was graduated from Wampum High School in 1956, while the bridegroom was a member of the 1954 graduating class of the same school.
