| Biography* | Geirlaug/Gerloc Adela Hrólfsdóttir de Normandie (c.897 - 962) was the daughter of Gange-Hrolfr 'Rollo' & Poppa De Valois. Her original name was Geirlaug or Gerloc, but she was baptised in Rouen as Adela (or Adèle) in 912. She was the sister of Duke William Longsword. In 935, she married William or Guillaume Towhead, the future count of Poitou and duke of Aquitaine.
