| Note* | Sainsfrida's parents are not known for sure. One source lists her father as Herbastus "le Danois" de Crépon (b. 911 d. November 01, 987 Arques, Seine Inferieure, Normandy, France.) He is called "la Danois" which translates to "the Dane" and suggests he was born in Denmark. Others suggest he was born in Crépon, Calvados, Normandy, France. This would explain him being known as de Crépon and perhaps his parents were Danish.1 | |
