Henrico County Orphans Court, 12 Oct 1688: Mr. Joseph Royall,
guardian of ye orphs of George Archer, decease, doth give
account that he has taken up two mares belonging to said
orphans, one of which he had held to The Branch who married
Eliza Archer (one of said orphans), which said Branch in court
acknowledgeth and the other he has exchanged with Samuel Knibb
for another which now has a foal.
