Know all men by these present that I Susanna NEEDHAM of Randolph
County, and State of North Carolina, nominated & appointed by
these present, do make, ordain, authorize, nominate and appoint
William NEEDHAM of the County & State aforesaid, my true and
Lawful Attorney , for me and in my name and for my own purposes
and benefit, to ask, demand, sue for and recover and
receive--from Bradley Garner of Moore County, & State of North
Carolina, all such sum or sums of money whatsoever, which are
now due and owing to me, the said Susanna NEEDHAM in the Estate
of John Garner , dec'd, by and from said Bradley Garner, Exect.,
to said Estate and to have use and take all lawful ways and
means in my name to make, seal & deliver & to do all other
lawful acts & things whatsoever concerning the premises as fully
& in every respect as myself might do or could do were I
personally present at the doing thereof, and again at his
pleasure, to revoke & confirming & by these present allowing
whatsoever my said Attorney shall in my name do lawfully or
cause to be done in and about the premises by virtue of these
present in Witness thereof.
I here unto set my hand and seal this the 12th day of July 1811.

Wit: Probate: James Johnson, Son-in-law , Administrator of her
Estate in Randolph Co North Carolina.
"Susannah was supposedly a daughter of old John Garner. Treva
Richardson gave me the following information back in 1971: found
in old family cemetery about Garmens--near Smyrna: John Garner
born 1780, died about 1872. Son Bradley Garner buried there
also, plus another son. Other graves are there as well, but have
no markings.
Randolph Co. NC Deed Bk 21 p531:
To all men to whome these presents shall come I Susannah Needham
do send Greeting know ye that I the said Susanah Needham of the
State of North Carolina and County of Randolph widow for and in
Consideration of the love good will and affection which I have
and do bear towards my loving Daughter Elizabeth Spinks of the
same State and County aforesaid wife of Enoch Spinks have given
and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the
said Elizabeth Spinks her heirs Executors or administrators all
and singular my Negro woman Sellar & two children Hannah & Dolly
now being in my possession in the state and county aforesaid of
which I have Delivered her the said Elizabeth Spinks to have and
to hold the said Negro woman and Children to her the said
Elizabeth Spinks her heirs Executors or admr from herself as her
and their property absolute without any manner of
consideration--In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand
and seal this first day of November one thousand eight hundred
and twenty two
