In Mar. 1762 he owed money to the estate of Lawrence Owen in
Fred. Co.******
In June 1767 he owed money to the estate of James Dixon of Fred.
Co.*******.
Apparently not a land-owner, he was a tenant leasing 150 acres
in Carrollton Manor in the period 1768-1771.# As kinsmen, he &
brother Thos. Pearl approved the inventory of the personal
estate of their brother James Pearl of Fred. Co. 18 Apr. 1774.##
By the 1774 will of his brother Daniel Pearl of Frederick-Town
Basil was appointed co-executor.

He may be the Basil Perril who was listed as head of household
in Fred. Co. in 1790, his family composed of one man (himself),
3 boys age under 16, & 5 females, living near Wm. Marshall and
Samuel Perril.*
In the 1800 Census of Fred. Co., Basil Purill was head of
household in District #1, age 45+, with a boy & 2 girls age
10-16, & one boy age under 10.
On 1 Dec. 1790, 42-acre Hobson's Choice was surveyed for Basil
Perill; he transferred it 23 Apr. 1807 to Daniel Fetter of
Skipton District, Allegany Co.***.
By deed dated 2 Apr. 1791, Basil Pearl of Washington Co.
purchased from Peter Devenbach of Washington Co. part of Walnut
Level lying on Old Town Creek below Dry Brnch (present Allegany
Co.).****
