William and Mary Quarterly in the Monroe write up states that
Benjamin, Charles, or William married Susannah Monroe and one of
the sons was Capt. Charles Tyler of Cameron Parish, Loudoun
Co.who married Anne Moore, the part re: Ann Moore is in error,
Charles Tyler m. Susannah and had a Charles and his brother
Benjamin who married Anne Middleton, who had the Charles that
married Anne Moore.
Deed dtd.: 12 Dec 1726...Charles Tyler, Westover Parish, Charles
City Co., VA to William Acrill of same, 250acres where Edward
Harper now dwells, in same parish, bound by Mosiers Creek,
Thomas Blanks, John Hunt's orphan being land descended from his
father, William Tyler, with all house, etc. Wit.: John Soane,
Thomas Gilles, Susanna Soane, James Middleton, Francis Ballard.
