WOODWARD are the parents of Jacob BUCKHOLTS who married Sarah
HODGE. Their first child was born in SC & the rest in Natchez,
Mississippi. Source of Children is IGI 1994 Edition-Vers 3.06

BUCKHOLTS, HODGE, MALONE My ancestor Jacob BUCKHOLTS (1755-1826)
was listed in the 1790 Census of the Cheraws District, South
Carolina, and the 1800 Census of Darlington County. Family
information suggests that Jacob married Sarah HODGE, who at the
time was the widow MALONE. This marriage is estimated to have
taken place in about 1785. Jacob and his family left Darlington
County in about 1803, and he participated in the 1805 Georgia
Land Lottery. By 1807, Jacob and his family were in Wilkinson
County, Mississippi Territory. I would very much appreciate any
facts concerning this family while they lived in Darlington
County.

considerable sum of money for him, tho I do not recollect

of hand drawn by my son WILLIAM H. BUCKHOLTS and for which I am
bound as being his security on the same, the note is in favor of
Henry Humble for if I mistake not five hundred Dollars & which
unto has been drawing interest for some length of time past, but
