"Military Service Two of wife's brother served in the same regiment during the revolutionary war; Wounded at the battle of Guilford Courthouse in the Revolutionary War


Jeremiah's birthdate is estimated according to census records and age he would have had to be to partake in the Revolutionary War as reported. The war was from 1775-1783 the battle at Guilford Court where Jeremiah was wounded happened in 1781 so Jeremiah had to have been at least 15 or 16 by then. According to census records for 1810 and 1820 he would have been
born between 1765 and 1775. Since he faught in the war that would make him born closer to 1765.
