The Muster of Inhabitants of Virginia, giving their present
age,year of arrival and name of ship lists "Thomas Osborne, age
18, "Francis Bonaventure".
In 1637, Thomas OSBORNE, Jr. was granted 500 ac. in Henrico,
bordering upon his father's property and called "Batchelor's
Bank".
In 1642, Thomas, Jr. had a grant for 400 acres at the head of
Coxendale, bounded WNW by Christopher Branch's land and NNE upon
his father's tract "Fearing" and a full mile into the woods.
He gave Thomas LOCKETT a deed of gift for land in 1667 in
HenricoCo., VA.

"Sir Henry, 6th Lord Scrope of Bolton married Elizabeth,
daughter of the earl of Northumberland and apart from him having
six children, little else is known about him.
His eldest son also Henry became the 7th Lord Scrope of Bolton
and was a knight of the Bath at the coronation of Henry VIII.
The records tell us that he fought at the battle of Flodden in
1513 with a company of Wensleydale archers and he also had a
contemporary poem written about him. Henry had five children,
the first four died in childhood. John was the last born and he
inherited his father's title as 8th Lord Scrope of Bolton."
