As per the"History of James Clawson, or J.C. Bristow, the son of Peyton Bristow"

The History of Grandpap Bristow (William)
He lived in Clinton County at the foot of the great Poplar mountain and about 6 miles from Albyna and on the west side of Poplar Mountain and I believe that he had been living there a long time. A tree fell on him and Uncle Ben and killed them both. He was old. He must have been near 80. I judge this from granny's age. I saw her soon after grandpap was killed.
Grandpap had one brother living there. His name was Leven Bristow.
Grandma were a Beck before she married. she had one brother that I have seen, Uncle Peyton Beck, as father called him. "
"The only reason for believing that Grandpap and granma were religious that the first sermon that I ever heard preached I remember one night that a man by the name of Billie Cooper preached in Granma's house. The only work that I can remember he said that thunder rolled from pole to pole. It was raining and thundering". From: Kellogg.ged by Jeff Kellogg on Gencircles.com.

EDWARD PLANTAGENET 18th Earl of Warwick

1475 - 28 Nov 1499

ID Number: I28058

  • RESIDENCE: London, ENG
  • BIRTH: 1475
  • DEATH: 28 Nov 1499, executed Tower of London
  • RESOURCES: See: [S1049]
Father: GEORGE PLANTAGENET Duke of Clarence
Mother: ISABEL de NEVILLE

Notes

The legitimate male issue of Count Geoffrey and Matilda The Empress became extinct with the death, in 1499, of Edward, [1475-1499] 18th Earl of Warwick, grandson of Richard, 3rd Duke of York. He was the son of George [1449-1478], Duke of Clarence, who allegedly met his end in the Tower of London as did his son, but George was supposedly drowned in the famous butt of Malmsey. The Madeira Wine, "Duke of Clarence" is named after this event. It is quite palatable, with good body and a bit of a nose.

_RICHARD of Conisburgh & York PLANTAGENET Earl of Cambridge_+
