9 May 1798: Christopher Haines and Elizabeth Thompson were
executors for the will of Robert Thompson, Washington Co.,
Virginia, probated 19 Jun 1798. His estate to his wife
Elizabeth. Witnesses: James A. Dailey, Jacob Roman, John Todd.

Census (1830): Scottsville, Allen Co., KY, pg. 78.
The identity of his father is only a conjecture. Do not confuse
him with Christopher Haynes, b. c1770, d. 1826-1840 Warren Co.,
KY, m. 30 Mar 1791 Charles City, Va, to Anne Young. [Marriages
for some Virginia Residents 1607-1800, Dorothy Ford Wulfeck,
I:180], [Gilmore 49], m: [Virginia Marriage Records, 1984, pg.
147]. This one is in Censuses of Warren Co. KY for 1810, 1820,
1830 (Livingstone Co.).
The [Index to KY Wills to 1851] lists "Christopher Haines, Allen
Co. KY Book 2 pages 36 and 96, 1842." (Note: 1842 must be the
date the will was dated). I have not seen the actual will."

In 1851, during the coup d' état, Dr. Pecquet** was severely
wounded by the soldiers of Napoleon III; he died in 1858.
Dr. Louis Joseph Pecquet du Bellet Decorated by Napoleon I with
the Cross of the Legion of Honor (Chevalier) Church, and also by
the U. S. Consul, S. G. Goodrich, at the residence of Dr. L. J.
Pecquet du Bellet, No. 20 Boulevard Passonere. I have the
contract in my possession.
