Garnett" by Harriet Elizabeth Garnett Hobble and Charles Hunter
Garnett, November 1955: Edmund Garnett was born April 25 -------
in Culpeper County and married Sarah Graves, June 1, 1787. They
removed to Boone Co., KY in 1796, or shortly thereafter where
they made their home. She died there September 15, 1824. He died
September 4, 1826 in Culpepper Co., VA, probably while on a
visit, and was buried in the family cemetery at Quiet Shade."

Garnett, John M. Garnett, William Garnett and Elizabeth, his
wife, James Ingram and Mary his wife, Jeremiah Garnett and Susan
his wife, Henry F. James and Frances his wife, Elizabeth Willis;
which said Joel Garnett, James Garnett, John M. Garnett, William
Garnett and Elizabeth his wife, James Ingram and Mary his wife,
Jeremiah Garnett and Susan his wife, Henry F. James and Frances
his wife, and Elizabeth Willis daughter if Robert and Nancy
Willis, are the heirs of Edmund Garnett, Dec'd, late of Culpeper
County and formerly of County of Boone, State of KY, to Sarah
Garnett, widow of Edmund Garnett, relinquishment by grantors to
said widow, of their claim to the land described. Acknowledged
October 9, 1826."
