Philip Penn had a son George Penn. Henry Co., VA Deed Book 3, pag 521 contains a deed dated 27 April 1789 which says "Philip Penn for love and regard for son, George" deeded land to farm on Gray's Fork. On 6 Dec. 1784 a George Penn married Patty (Patsy) Farris. Patrick Co., VA Deed Book 4 on 8 March 1815 had a power of Attorney from George Penn of Smith Co., TN (and Patsy Penn his wife) to William Banks, Jr. of Patrick Co., VA to sell land on Gray's Fork to Francis Harrison. Smith Co., TN Minute Book, page 154, Nov. 1815 states - George and Patsy Penn to William Harrison 400 ac of land in Patrick Co., VA.
