RICHARD MALLORY MALLORE

ABT 1080 - BEF 1190

ID Number: I82244

  • RESIDENCE: ENG
  • BIRTH: ABT 1080
  • DEATH: BEF 1190
  • RESOURCES: See: [S3086]

Family 1 :
  1. +GEOFFREY MALLORY Lord of Kirkby
  2.  BETRAM MALLORY Lord of Holwell

Notes

"He was living during the reign of King Stephen into the early reign of King Henry II, basically from 1135-1189. I have found the information on this line in a site on the Internet that sources a history of the Mallory family. It also seems to be the same information that United Ancestries CD-100 used as a source. In CD-100, all of the birthdates appear to be estimated, because whenever siblings names are known for any generation, their birthdates are all estimated to be the same. Spouses birthdates are also estimated to be the same and we know in early English history, that the women were often very young and in their early teens compared to their husbands in their 20s and 30s. Therefore, this lineage needs a lot of study and improvement. (F-511, 599)

Manors belonging to this Richard's descendants included: Walton-on-the Woulds, Kirby Malory, Hoton Conyers, Highe Studly or Studley Royal, Newbold Revell, Boteley, Draughton, and Swinford. Their locations were in Papworth, co. Cambridge, Mobberley, co. Chester, Woodford, co. Northampton, Northamptonshire, Wooderson, co. York, and Huntingdonshire. Kirbie Malalorie was in Leicestershire county. Studley was in county York, (F-635).
