SARAH MORGAN b. abt 1700 Bala Wales near Philadelphia, PA, d. 1 Jan 1777, age 77, Rowan Co. NC.; married Squire Boone 23rd, 7th mo., 1720 in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; d/o Edward Morgan and possibly Elizabeth Jarman. Edward Morgan lived in Montgomery Co. [which actually was then still part of Phila. Co.] until 1784, his dau. Sarah married Squire Boone, Sr. on 23 Sept 1720 in Berks Co., Oley Twp, PA, Gwynedd Monthly [Quaker] Mtg. The couple soon thereafter migrated to Berks Co. [which also was yet a part of Phila. Co. - until 1752] Squire and Sarah [Morgan] Boone begat some 10 children. The entire Squire Boone, Sr., family migrated in 1750 down a portion of the Great Wagon Road, which ran from Phila. through the Shenandoah Valley of VA, to Camden, S.C. Many of Daniel Boone's aunts and uncles families remained behind - per the 1790 census there were 12 Boone households in Berks Co. and 2 in Phila. Co. Sarah and Squire both buried Joppa Cemetery, Mocksville, Davie Co. N!
C. Sarah Morgan Boone & children joined the'Drunkerd' Society. She & Squire were disowned by Friends in 1748 w/Israel their son. Sarah was Penna Dutch of Bretheren Affiliation; George and Squire Jr. were Dunker preachers.
