"I would like to point out that Daniel Howard Compton moved from Culpeper Co. Virginia to Warren Co. Ohio in 1828. He lived for a short time in Miami Co. Ohio before buying land and a house from a Mr. Jack in 1828 and settling near Morrow, Warren Co. Ohio. Daniel died in Warren Co. Ohio and is buried in a cemetery near Morrow in Warren Co. Post by Jim Windsor: There were two Compton families in Warren Co. Ohio, one was Daniel Compton from Culpeper Co. Virginia. He married Betsy Yates and a second wife. The other Compton family were Quakers and a different line. There is a published family history of the Quaker Comptons of Warren Co. Ohio. [S2203]
