Elizabeth M. BUCKHOLTZ was b. in Nov of 1821. She and her
husband, Charles H. Moran had 11 children. They removed to
Fayette Co. TX sometime after 1840, and then to Lavaca Co. TX
sometime after 1860. Elizabeth Buckholts Moran eventually
enrolled herself and nine of her living children as Choctaw
Indians in 1879 in the Blue District of Choctaw Nation Indian
Territory (now Oklahoma).
"I am searching for proof of the parent's of Charles H. Moran.
I have seen his parent's listed as Henry Moran and Sarah Young,
but have not seen the proof. Do you know of any?"

"Lindsey" in Lindsey Briscoe came from. Lindsey Briscoe's
mother, a Trammell. She was married to a "Lindsey Delashmett"
(m.1779) before she married Ralph Briscoe. Someplace in my
records I found where Lindsey Delashmett was lost along the
Mississippi River in Missouri territory while accompanying
Daniel Boone.
