"The 1829 will of Robert Moseley (Logan Co., KY Will Book D,
page 221) left his wife Mary (Flood) Moseley "the land whereon I
live to dispose of as she sees proper . . ." He apparently had
already provided for all children except Harriett and William.
In 1853 Mary P. Moseley named her daughter Harriett L. Moseley
as executor and left 1/2 of her land to Harriett and the balance
to her son William H. Moseley (Logan Co., KY Will Book H, page
117).
William H. Moseley had married February 4, 1843 in Robertson,
Tennessee to Harriet Bagby. He had three children: Mary A.,
Susanna and E. K. (Kemp). on December 14, 1869 the three
children of William H. deeded the land to Thomas Showers (Logan
Co., KY Deed Book 43, page 337). Robert and Mary are buried on
the farm which is located northwest of Adairville on the
northwest corner of the Franklin - Keysburg Road adn the Spring
Valley Church Road. there are no stones marking the graveyard or
graves."
