Radnor, Wales married to Jane Evans b. 1647 .
"Seeking verrification on a James Morgan born 1645 in Nantmel,
Radnor, Wales and died Nov. 14, 1691 in Bohemia Manor, Cayots,
Maryland, USA. He married Jane Evans 1666 in Radnorshire, Wales.
Jane Evans born 1647 in Nantmel, Radnor, Wales and died Sept. 9,
1691 at sea during the crossing of Atlantic for immigration. I
have two possible targets for James Morgan father. The first:
Morgan Lewis Morgan b. 1610 in Nantmel, Radnorshire, Wales and
d. aft. 1667. His father: Edward Morgan b. 1580 in Wales and d.
abt. Aug. 1671. Then his father: James Morgan b. 1550 and d.
1624.
The second possible target: Morgan ap Lewis b. 1616. His father:
Lewis ap Morgan b. 1590 in Wales. His father: Morgan ap Edward
b. 1566 and d. 1597. His father: Edward Gwyn ap Howel b. abt.
1540 d. 1597.
Any information on which target is the correct one is greatly
appreciated. Thank you."

"James Morgan, born in Vainor, parish of Nantmell, Radnorshire,
circa 1645.
He married Jane ______. They removed with their children to
the Province of Pennsylvania in 1691. She died on shipboard 9
Sept. 1691. He died on their arrival, 14 Nov., 1691, and was
buried at the head of Bohemia Bay, Bohemia Manor, on the
Chesapeak, Maryland. [Morgan Family Bible, copy by the late Mr.
Bruner, 1897.]
Issue:
Margaret, born 1 March 1666.
John, born 22 Nov. 1669 d. Dec 1744 PA m. Sarah Jones
Evan, born 29 Nov. 1672
James, born 1 May, 1675, of Bristol; d.s.p.
(Welsh Founders of Pennsylvania - p. 132)
His father: "Morgan Lewis, of Nantmell, who acquired lands in
Vainor in his father's lifetime, and was taxed there (in Vainor,
Nantmell), 18 Car. II. (1667 - 7) and later. [Subsidy Roll No.
224/591, Radnorshire.]
He had: James Morgan"

His father: "Lewis Morgan, of Nantmell, gentleman, son of Morgan
Edward, was taxed as one of the largest freeholders of Nantmell,
i Car. I. (1625). [subsidy Roll No. 224/583a, Radnorshire], and
4 Car. I. (1628). [Subsidy Roll No. 224/587.]
Will proved 28 August, 1671. [Hereford Probate Registry.] He
was probably 80 to 90 years old.

David Lewis, of Vainor
Evan Lewis, of Vainor; (see John Evans of Nantmell), acquired
lands in Vainor in his father's lifetime."

gentleman, son of Edward Gwyn. He is mentioned as living in
1597. [Dwnn i, 268] Died before 1 Car. I. (1625). [Subsidy
Roll 224/583a, Raidnorshire, Pub. Rec. Office, London],
and had:

Hugh Morgan, taxed in Nantmell i Car. I (1625), and 4 Car. I
(1628).
Edward Morgan, of Vainor, living 1666.
John Morgan, will proved 25 May, 1663. [Herefrod Probate
Registry]"
