East & West Feliciana Parishes. David Pipes, Sr. 70 years old
planter born in Miss. in household: Amanda age 58 born SC;
William age 19, David age 15, Sarah Muse age 17, Eliza Dunn age
86 and the Kirkland family (overseer)

Dunn were as follows:
He and Martha Witherington obtained a marriage license on
December 29, 1821 in St. Francisville, West Feliciana Parish,
Louisiana. He married Amanda Montgomery Dunn on July 18, 1838
in Clinton, East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. He died on August
14, 1873 in Beech Grove Plantation, East Feliciana Parish,
Louisiana, at age 83. He was buried on August 16, 1873 in Beech
Grove Plantation Cemetery, Clinton, East Feliciana Parish,
Louisiana.
He served in the Adams Cavalry which was organized in Natchez.
He served with this unit and was a Lieutenant during the war of
1812. He was under the command of General Andew Jackson at the
battle of New Orleans in 1815.
