County, VA4,5, and died Aft. May 08, 1775 in Brown's Cove,
Albemarle County , VA6. She married MAJ. ROBERT HARRIS7 January
13, 1719/20 in Albemarle County, Virginia8, son of WILLIAM
HARRIS and TEMPERANCE OVERTON. He was born November 10, 1696 in
St. Peters Parish, New Kent/Hanover County, VA9, and died August
08, 1765 in Brown's Cove, Albemarle County, VA9.
He (Robert Harris) married Mourning Glenn. She was a remarkable
woman, kind, generous, charitable, a devout christian, and much
beloved by her acquaintances and offspring. Her children and
descendants down through the generations gave a daughter her
name "Mourning," showing their high estimation of Mourning
Gleason Glenn (Harris). - Histories and Genealogies,
p. 231.
