WARNING: This Charles(Benjamin) was born c1738 and died in 1777. Not to be confused with Charles Tyler b. 1715. He and Ann Moore were married c1760 and had several children, some of them relatively famous. One of their daughters was Jane or Jenny Tyler who married Benjamin Botts, the lawyer who defended Aaron Burr in his treason trial. Jane and Benjamin, along with a niece, Ariana Hunter, daughter of another daughter of Charles(Benjamin) and Ann Moore, died on the night after Christmas in 1811 in a Richmond theater fire that killed over 70 people including the governor of the state.
