Mother: Elizabeth? |
Court Orders Book H Bullitt Co. KY p 291
Monday 16 Jun 1856
"On motion of Rose Ann Bass, she is appointed guardian to
William Bass, Rose Ann Bass, and James Samuel Bass infant
Orphans of her dec'd husband James H. Bass under the age of 14
years and therefrom said Rose Ann Bass together with Oliver P.
Bishop her surety executed a covenant to the commonwealth of
Kentucky Conditioned according to law."
This is very interesting, perhaps Rose Ann and James divorced or
separated as Rose Ann was not living in the household in 1850
census. My best guess is that Rose Ann is the mother of the
these children.
