On July 9, 1725, John Hardyman of the Parish of Martin's Brendon
in the County of Prince George, and Henrietta Maria, his wife,
sold to Joshua Poythress 300 acres of land known as Flower de
Hundred, 150 acres of which was devised to said Henrietta Maria
by the will of her father John Taylor dated Apr 5, 1707, who
devised the other 150 acres to his daughter Sarah, now wife of
Francis Hardyman and was by them sold to the said John Hardyman
(Prince George County Deeds 1713-1728)[AllMerle.FTW]
Entries in William Byrd's diary note that Sarah Taylor visited
at Westover every few months after her sister's (Henrietta
Maria) wedding, and did not marry Francis Hardyman until after
April 29, 1711.

November in the year of our Lord Christ Seventeen hundred and
forty-three, I, Meverell Hulls, of the County of St Mary, being
sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory, thanks be
to God therefore, calling to mind and mortality of my body and
knowing it is appointed for all men once to die do make and
ordain this my last will and testament that is to say
principally and first I give and recommend my soul unto the
hands of God and for my body I commend to the earth to be buried
in a christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my
executors nothing doubting but the general resurresction I shall
receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as
touching such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to
bless me with I give and dispose of the same in the following
manner.
First, of all I will all such debts as I justly owe may be paid.
I give and bequeath to my loving wife, Elizabeth, the plantation
now that I live on, during her natural life, containing, one
hundred and fifty acres.
I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Hulls one hundred and fifty
acres of land the plantation that I now live on to her and her
heirs lawfully begotten to her body and for want of such heirs
to return to her cousin Edward Barber, the son of Luke Barber to
him and his heirs forever.
I give and bequeath unto my sister, Rebecca, that part that
belonged to my sister Sarah Huls, deceased to her and her heirs
lawfully begotten of her body.
I give and bequeath to brothers John Huls, Luke Barber Huls, all
that part of that neck of land that I now live on, according to
my brother's desire to them and heirs and lawfully begooten of
their body.
I give and bequeath unto my loving wife all my moveable estate
during her natural life and them to return to my daughter,
Elizabeth Hulls, as I witness whereof I have set my hand and
seal the day and year above written.
