Record of Wills for Ansel McGraw by J.W. Gildart, Dep.Clerk
State of Mississippi - Know all men by these presents that
I Ansel McGraw of Wilkinson County State of Mississippi for an
in consideration of the love and affection I have for my
daughter Catherine C.Cox and for and in consideration of the sum
of five dollars to me in hand paid the receipt for which is
hereby acknowledge I give to my daughter Catherine C.Cox a
certain tract of land known as the Jones Place containing three
hundred acres more or less bounded on the East by lands owned by
Dyson on the North by lands owned by Wm.Scudder and Wm. McGraw.
On the West and South by lands owned by Felix Embree lying and
being in Wilkinson County, State of Mississippi, to have and to
hold the land above described its improvements and appurtenance,
unto the said daughter Catherine C.Cox her heirs and assigns
forever.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix my seal
this 22nd day of May the year one thousand eight hundred and
sixty eight.
