Re: Joe Dennison Author: Beverly Maier Date: 4 Aug 2004
Classification: Query
This Joe Dennison is thought to be the first husband of my great grandmother, Calpernia, before she later married John Wesley Whitley. Calpernia was born in Tenn., but her parents, and she as well, later moved to Ky. From info I'm finding, looks as if this Joseph Dennison may have joined in the Civil War out of Tenn. Seems to have been in the 39th Regiment of the Tennessee mounted Inf. under Col. W.M. Bradford. Looks as if he was killed in the Civil War. If you're still researching, hope you are getting lots of info. If I have anything you might be interested in, you can e-mail me directly at [email protected]
