JAMES B. GARMON

JAMES B. GARMON was born July 12, 1844 and
died May 10, 1927 in Adair County Ky. He married (1) MARGRETTE E.
CALLAHAN GARMON January 22, 1868. She was born August 21, 1848,
and died January 17, 1878 . He married (2) HARRIET ANN FARRIS: She
was born July 06, 1851, and died February 25, 1922 in Adair County Ky.
A uncle who attended James B. Garmon's
funeral services conducted at his home, where he and
second wife Harriet Ann lived, Their
grave site is about one thousand yards from the home, southwest of
Sparksville Ky., just off of Highway 61 between Sparksville and the Walker Farm. Janes B. was commonly
called "Jim Black",
After some research I discovered his name
to be James Black Garmon. The Old House still stands today but in bad state
of repair.
