Chapter 29.  Descendants of Benjamin Franklin Coleman of Walden's Ridge Tennessee

Benjamin Franklin Coleman II, Frank, was born 9/?/1849, in Bledsoe County, Tennessee, on Walden's Ridge near the present communities of Lewis Chapel and Flat Top.  He moved to Putnam County with his family when he was in his early teens.

Frank married Mary Roberts in Putnam County, Tennessee in 1873.  Mary was born 10/?/1850, in Tennessee.  Frank and Mary probably lived their lives out in Putnam County, Tennessee, near the town of Baxter.  Frank owned a farm and was well known in the area as an excellent carpenter, a trade by which he made his living.

It is not known when Frank and Mary died.  They had no children.

In the 1880 Census, in District 9 of Putnam County, TN, we find Frank, his wife Mary J. Roberts, and Mary's brother, John Roberts on page 173A:
