Nubbins Progress - this is an autobiographical piece authored by Bryant Franklin Cobb, III for an English course at Abilene Christian College after he returned to school in the U.S. following a tour of duty with the army which took him to France for two years. He writes of a few boyhood experiences growing up and of the places he went in Europe while enlisted. He mentions his work for the army in surgery and the fact that, soon after being taught by teachers in France, he was teaching the teachers in the areas that they had taught him, but beyond what they had taught him.

Searching the SSDI for Martha Lvella (Ella) Faulkner Cobb located only this person: COBB, ELLA b. 24 Apr 1884 d. 15 Jun 1967 (V) age: 83 last residence: 77856 (Franklin, Robertson, TX) Texas 462-58-3895 but the dates don't match. I had her dates as: 29 Dec 1882 to 18 Mar 1957
